The Mlak Cardigan from Alémais is a love letter to artistic expression. An oversized silhouette alive with colour, texture and irreverent charm. Created in collaboration with artist Karlee Mackie, the piece channels the spirit of collected treasures and beautifully worn nostalgia.

Soft mohair and angora yarns envelop the body in warmth and weightlessness, while hand-feel textures and playful embroidered patches evoke a sense of whimsical rebellion. Cut with a deep V-neckline and relaxed proportions, the Mlak drapes with effortless ease. A tactile collision of craft and character designed for layering, lounging and late-night wanderings alike.

Alémais is the creative expression of Australian designer Lesleigh Jermanus. A Graduate in Fine Arts, Lesleigh has been designing and collaborating within the industry for over 20 years.

It is about creating and curating a collection that supports artisanal communities, that reduces environmental impact and treats its suppliers with honesty and respect.
