Let’s dive headfirst into a world of whimsical wonder with Alémais’ latest collection “Deep Sea Dreaming” inspired by the ethereal beauty of Australia’s Yarrangobilly Caves in NSW.
The whispers of the wind suggest that the Sea chapter of Summer ‘25 is about to make a grand entrance.
Picture this: Oversized 80s silhouettes, reimagined with a touch of refined rustic romanticism. The Summer ‘25 story is told through sea motifs, surrealist patterns and ombre sedimentation on silk, linen, knits and organic cotton.
The interplay of elements echoes their label’s enduring romance between strong classical tailoring and modern liberational silhouettes.
Alémais has always had a penchant for the Rococo style and their newest collection is a testament to their enduring love affair with this opulent aesthetic.
It seems Alemais has once again cast a spell on the fashion world with their whimsical creations and we, for one, cannot wait to see who amongst our esteemed clientele will be the first to adorn themselves in these exquisite creations.
Now, before we delve into the stunning pieces of this collection, let’s take a moment to appreciate the artist behind it all: Sam Pauletto debuting his 2nd collection with Alemais.
Growing up in Canberra born to Italian-Australian parents, Sam was inspired by Italianate designs of his family's history blended with the raw beauty found in the Bush Capital. This blend of influences and inspiration can be seen through his work and is characterised by sensitive and sophisticated use of colour, graphic shapes and a contemporary approach to traditional calligraphy, thus creating a unique and captivating aesthetic for the Summer Collection for ‘25.
The collection features an aesthetic born out of rebellion depicting the modern day aristocratic leisure-time style that is incredibly sustainable.
Even Sam Pauletto agrees according to his interviews -

Poised to be our darling of the season, hopefully yours too, is a vibrant symphony of colours and strong graphic shapes. This design is a modern interpretation of timeless elegance.
It’s almost as if it is a testament to Pauletto’s undeniable flair leaving an indelible mark on the fashion landscape.
Surrealist Print
This print features dreamlike imagery, distorted figures and the unexpected combinations of objects add a touch of whimsy, while it’s a playful twist on the Rococo aesthetic, it maintains the sophistication that Alemais is known for.
Bath House Print
This print is patterned with an array of anthropomorphic creatures that have been printed to look like mosaic tiles in an ancient bathhouse. It is as if you have stumbled upon an ancient Bath House, frozen in time and transformed into a wearable piece of art.
This is sure to cause a sensation amongst the city’s most discerning fashionistas.

Surrealist Summer Mini Dress: This mini dress could work as a statement piece for brunch or serve as the showstopper for dinner. Either way, you will eat and leave no crumbs. For a more casual look, style with white sneakers, a vibrant tote or your favourite jewellery.
